Ive spent a week on a desk project for my self. I found a desk in a barn a few town away form here. Its a late 1800's partners desk but not sure from where. The desk was too far gone to restore back to orignal and I then decided to make it retro. The top was to damaged and a new one was under creation. I was looking for something that was a little ruff around the edges but not to mid-evil. Something that had a hint of the 50's and some modern. A partners desk has drawers on both sides of the desk with a huge desk top. The new top was shortened and then 2nd set of drawers were removed. Hidden doors were put in where the drawers used to be that now house my computer. Im very pleased with the out come and am thinking of building another.
